Welcome to Indian River Cruises

Indian River CruisesKnown for its unusually deep water, abundant wildlife and spectacular views of historic turn of the century homes, this 25 mile stretch of intracoastal waterway between Cocoa and Melbourne is both breathtaking and unique. The nearly year round southeast sea breeze allows for hours of uninterrupted sailing pleasure.  Stability and comfort are trademarks of large multihulls and the S/V Double ShAAfted is no exception.

The vessel's shallow draft permits sailing within one hundred feet of the shoreline in many areas.  Indian River Drive,  also known as “River Road” by the locals, is among the most scenic historic drives in Florida.  The homes and businesses along this stretch date back to the 1880’s, harkening back to an era when Rockledge and Cocoa were Florida's first tourist destinations in the late 19th century.

Wind and weather may vary from day to day, but what’s never in doubt is the magnificence and sheer natural beauty of the Indian River.
